"We believe that a preschool is not just a place where we educate your child and keep them safe. We want your child to be safe, happy and enthusiastic about learning and discovering while he/she develops independence, values and social skills in a very well structured program.
We also believe that our responsibility extends to the family as well.  We want to go above and beyond to ensure that First Steps International Academy is an extension of your home.  Moreover, we are here to make your life easier by assisting you in this journey." Gilberto Pinzon, Owner.

First Steps International Academy(FSIA) is a preschool that serves families with children one to five years of age.  As well as an afterschool program for elementary age children.

FSIA provides quality education carefully crafted by our staff based on the developmentally appropriate guidelines of international standards for young children.

FSIA's curriculum was developed after meticuously studying and analyzing many outstanding and successful education systems around the world. Thereby carefully integrating the best teaching philosophies and practices in order to create our high standard curriculum within a provocative and nurturing environment.

The FSIA curriculum is inspired by the Reggio schools philosophy in Italy, the Primary Years Program from the IB world schools and follows the Visible Thinking approach created by Harvard University's Project Zero.  The British and Western Australia Departments of education.

At First Steps Int'l Academy children discover knowledge and develop their skills through inquiry and fun and exciting experiences!
